CURBSIDE RECYCLING & GARBAGE COLLECTION

Download your Residential 2010 Collection Calendar

(The Multi-Family Recycling Calendar is the same as the Residential one)

Everybody recycle!  This compulsory service will significantly reduce the amount of garbage entering our landfill. In addition to preserving landfill space, recycling ensures that materials like paper, plastic and metals are returned to the manufacturing process where they can be made into new products instead of requiring the harvest of raw materials from the environment.

This program is compulsory  and you are not able to “opt out” of it.  The cost for garbage and recycling pick up of $15.00 monthly ($13.50 if paid by the due date) for single-family residences will automatically be added to each utility bill every month.

Multi-family residences receive municipal collection service for recyclables only and pay $4.50 per month ($4.05 if paid by the due date).

If your garbage/recycling does not get picked up, call Summerland Waste @ 250 486-4340
