DOMESTIC WATER METER INSTALLATION Program booklets have now been delivered to ALL Property Owners within the District of Summerland.

If you have not made an appointment or have not received a booklet, please contact Neptune Technology Group immediately at 1-800-667-4387.  Operators will assist you in booking your appointment between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Fridays.  You may also book your appointment online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at www.watermeterappt.com/Project Code i-170.

If you are a Property Owner within a Strata, please check with your Strata Management first regarding the arrangements made for your particular building before scheduling an appointment with Neptune.

Please note that installation of water meters is mandatory for all residences and commercial establishments within the District of Summerland as authorized by the Universal Water Metering Bylaw No. 2000-380.  In accordance with Section 4.4 of this bylaw, if an Owner:

-          refuses to have a water meter installed inside a building when the Director has deemed it feasible to do so, or

-          fails to respond to the District's attempts to contact the Owner to arrange an appointment to have the water meter installed,

the District will install the water meter in a chamber at the parcel boundary and the Owner will be subject to a charge of $750.00 for the installation of the chamber plus any additional costs that pertain to installing the water meter outside the building.
